Welcome to the
Glean brand guidelines.
Logo
The Glean wordmark is our brand’s anchor. It signs off everything—from product UI to global campaigns.
Look closely and you’ll see a search icon and a smile, nods to what drives us: curiosity, clarity, and delight. Simple on the surface, thoughtful by design.
Clear space & sizing
Give the logo room to breathe. Keep at least one “N” width of space around it.
Minimum size:
20px for digital, 3mm for print.
Logo icon
When there’s not room for our wordmark, use the logo symbol instead. Allow for ample whitespace around the avatar.
As a general rule we use the inner counter of the ‘g’ to define our clear space when locking up the avatar.
Trademark Usage
Use the ™ symbol on first or prominent mentions of “Glean” in written text—such as documentation, legal disclaimers, or footers.
Do not add ™ directly to the Glean logo itself. Like Apple and other leading brands, we keep our logo clean and unobstructed in all visual applications.
Primary palette
The primary palette forms the foundation of the brand, creating a consistent, recognizable identity that reflects our values and unifies all visual touchpoints.
Typeface
PolySans is a fresh take on mid 20th century classics, visually distinct from its predecessors by a subtle soft-edge ink trap feature.
Fallback typeface
The Fallback typeface is DM Sans which is a Google font to be used only in cases where PolySans cannot be used, such
as Google Slides.
