Nilesh Dalvi

With over 18 years of experience at the intersection of machine learning, data, and engineering, Nilesh Dalvi is a pioneering leader known for building world-class teams and delivering transformative technology in both industry and academia. As a co-founder of Trooly, he developed innovative trust mechanisms for the sharing economy, guiding the company from inception through acquisition by Airbnb, where he later led the Trust Infrastructure group to scale real-time ML systems and core services across global products. Nilesh has held executive roles such as CTO at Fiddler AI—recognized among the top AI companies for responsible AI and ML monitoring—and has contributed impactful research at Facebook and Yahoo!, earning over a dozen patents, 50+ publications, and prestigious awards like the VLDB Test of Time and ACM SIGMOD Best Dissertation Honorable Mention.
