Michelle Zhang
Michelle Zhang is a software engineer at Glean, where she helps build intuitive, impactful Work AI experiences with a strong blend of engineering, product thinking, and user centered design. A Carnegie Mellon University graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science, a concentration in Human Computer Interaction, and a minor in Business Administration, Michelle has built her career at the intersection of technical depth and human experience, from front end and full stack roles at Carnegie Mellon’s Human Computer Interaction Institute and Language Technologies Institute to engineering internships at Verizon and Meta. Before joining Glean, she spent more than two years at Sentry working on developer experience and products like mobile Session Replay, while also sharing her expertise at industry events such as Droidcon SF and React Miami. Her background in leadership and communication, including directing a nationally recognized orientation program for more than 1,750 incoming students at Carnegie Mellon, adds a thoughtful, people first dimension to her work and reflects the same clarity, curiosity, and energy she brings to every product she helps shape.
